If temptation wasn’t tempting, it wouldn’t be a temptation. Don’t make negotiations with evilness. Satan will do everything in his power to distract you from what you were called to do. Use the gifts you are blessed with for the glory of God.
Priorities
What are the things in your life that are coming in between your relationship with Jesus? Some of these things might not necessarily be bad things, but they can still take away from our time with Jesus.
Try Jesus
There's a lot of hurting out there right now. Have you tried Jesus? Remember...when you aren't feeling it, it may be when you need him the most. Let the Holy Spirit transform you into the person you were created to be.
Salvation
This week we talk about how a person gets saved and the next steps you take. This is a great message for everyone.
Peace
Our brokenness separates us from God, that’s why we need Jesus. The Holy Spirit won’t take you out of the fire, but through the fire. Life is hard, but God is good.
The Great Physician
If you go to the doctor, the first thing you have to do is admit that you’re sick. The next thing you have to do is listen to what the doctor has to say. Then…you have to follow the doctor’s orders. Jesus is the Great Physician, you can’t go through life alone. Go to him, listen to what he has to say, and follow what he has to say.
Tear Down the Idols
We all have idols in or lives…anything that we put before God. Before we can fully worship God, we have to tear down these other idols in or lives. We need a savior. Jesus took the cross, what was once a symbol of death, and turned it into a symbol of life and redemption.
Purpose
Jesus’ last standing orders to the apostles was to make disciples and spread the gospel to all nations. So if you’ve ever wanted to know your purpose in life…it’s to save, heal, deliver, and disciple.
Run to the Tomb
If you’re faced with opportunities to see God move…run to it. Step into something bigger than yourself and see God move. There are principles in the Bible that are for everyone…but certain experiences are for you personally. Jesus wants a personal relationship with you.
